Georgia State University students will lend a helping hand by assisting small to medium-size nonprofits with their social media presence.

Who: Georgia State University's Nonprofit Leadership Alliance

What: Social Media Clinic

When: Friday, October 23 from 8:45-12:00

Where: 7th floor of the Georgia State-Andrew Young School building located at 14 Marietta St., NW, Atlanta, GA  30303)

Why: This is a valuable opportunity for small to medium-size local nonprofits to enhance their social media presence. The clinic will involve a presentation by a representative from LYFE Marketing, a social media marketing firm, followed by small groups in the computer lab where students will consult with representatives from the nonprofit organizations and provide them with suggestions and feedback on how their current social media presence can be enhanced.

Donations can be made in one of two ways: 1) online with the GSU Foundation or 2) by check. If you are paying by check and bringing it the morning of the Social Media Clinic, please make the checks payable to "GSU Foundation" and designate it for the "Nonprofit Leadership Alliance."
 

GSU's NLA is asking organizations to pay a small fee of $35 to assist NLA students with their expenses to attend NLA’s annual Alliance Management Institute (AMI) in Houston, Texas in early January. AMI attendance is one of the five requirements for students to complete in order to earn their Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential.
