Why become a GCN Member?

GCN is the only membership organization of its kind in Georgia, committed to equipping and supporting nonprofits through programs and resources – updated to include COVID-19 support – to help navigate our ever-changing circumstances.

  • Scenario Planning Workshops. How are you managing your organization amidst increased demand and revenue challenges? GCN has webinars scheduled over the next two weeks that will help you think through your plans for the next 4 to 8 weeks and beyond, as well as this scenario planning doc.
  • “Going Virtual” Webinar Series. GCN is here to help you acclimate to the new remote-work reality with helpful webinars, just for GCN members.
  • Rapid Response Consulting. GCN’s consulting team will be making themselves available exclusively to members to field questions and provide advice or guidance to help address concerns.

  • Complimentary, member-exclusive learning events featuring thought leaders and top practitioners, like our annual WSB-TV media summit, where the media veterans themselves teach nonprofits how to pitch their stories.

  • Access to exclusive scholarship opportunities, presented by Wells Fargo, for three signature GCN programs: Doings Labs, NU Certificate Series, and NU individual courses. Spring applications due 4/17!

  • Free webinars covering vital topics, from board governance to finance, fundraising, and more.

  • Discounted pricing (up to $200 off our certificates) on Nonprofit University classes like our popular Certificates of Supervision & Management, Social Media and Nonprofit Organization Management.

    • Members can add a Nonprofit University + ThinkHR subscription to their membership, giving the organization access to two seats in every one of our live Nonprofit University core classes, plus unlimited HR support from ThinkHR, for just $2,500 yearly.

  • Exclusive Member Monthly newsletter, delivering early access to upcoming events, funding opportunity notices, fresh perspectives from experts and peers, and more.

  • 15% off job postings on Work for Good, the national job board exclusively for the nonprofit sector, and our state’s top nonprofit hiring and career resource, run by GCN.

  • Regular opportunities to share your news and achievements through our monthly Georgia Nonprofit News email, social media channels, and content contributor opportunities.

  • Top-shelf customer service and program guidance to meet your needs.

"The Historic Oakland Foundation has been a member of GCN for over 15 years. During that time our modest investment has paid handsome dividends in what GCN brings to us in resources to strengthen our mission. I also value the networking opportunities GCN provides, whereby we can meet with other non-profits to discuss trends, best practices, and form collaborative partnerships."

-David Moore, Co-Executive Director, Historic Oakland Cemetary Foundation
