(July 18, 2018) As the next step in its ongoing mission to help nonprofits succeed, the Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN) has launched Mission:Money, a unique initiative designed to increase financial wellness among mission-minded professionals. This partnership between GCN and the SunTrust Foundation addresses a critical sector need by delivering free resources and training for employees and employers both.

(February 6, 2018) Continuing their decade-long Building Community Network partnership, GCN and The Home Depot Foundation are proud to announce the winners of the 2018 Collaborative Innovation Grants competition. The Home Depot Foundation is providing a total of $317,000 to seven Atlanta nonprofit partnerships that will further the “greening” of neighborhoods, expand access to no-cost medical equipment, bring free opera performances to the BeltLine, and much more

(December 6, 2017) Last Tuesday, Nov. 28, the state came together in an overwhelming show of generosity and community spirit for our very first GAgives on #GivingTuesday. Today, we are thrilled to report that a record $4 million was donated through GAgives.org, and another $2.8 million was reported from 36 other major donation platforms – raising a grand total of $6.8 million for Georgia nonprofits in our state’s first unified #GivingTuesday campaign.
