Nonprofit University programs are now online and on-demand, thanks to our new partnership with NonprofitReady.org – the largest free online learning library for nonprofit professionals.

Create a login – it’s quick and easy! – to watch our first two short videos, “Culture Matters” and “The Effective Board Chair,” both complimentary for the GCN community. In addition, you can browse the NonprofitReady catalog, including 300+ free online courses and videos.

  • If you’re already a GCN member or subscriber, go to the NonprofitReady login page.
  • Enter the email address we’ve used to reach you.
  • Enter the password Learning1 (you will be prompted to change your password after your initial login).
  • Scroll down and click on the Georgia Center for Nonprofits banner on the welcome page.
  • Launch your first course!

Once you’re created an account and logged in, here’s what’s currently available for viewing.

Culture Matters: This 5-minute video features a talk on organizational culture from author and HR expert Dan Erling, including the importance of being intentional with culture, its role in hiring, and how nonprofits can leverage culture to gain a competitive advantage.

The Effective Board Chair: This 7-minute video is an essential primer, and a handy refresher, for nonprofit board chairs, detailing the five key roles and responsibilities of the position, and featuring key tips for managing and supporting the chief executive, leading the board and its meetings, and facilitating achievement of the organization’s goals. Your guide will be GCN EVP Kathy Keeley, who has more than 35 years of experience in nonprofits as a founder, leader, consultant, and executive coach, with expertise in board management, social entrepreneurship, and more.
