ACCT 220 | Program Based Budgeting

Within nonprofits, the budget formulation process accepts programs as given and attempts to determine the amount of revenues and expenses that will be associated with each. Due to differing kinds and levels of complexity, each organization must develop a budget formulation process that meets its individual needs. During this course we will discuss the key elements of a good budget planning process.

  • Understanding the different budget types
  • Identify everyone’s role in the budget process, including the board and your staff
