ACCT 220 | Meaningful Budgeting for Nonprofits

A budget is a realistic plan for the future expressed in monetary terms that reflects an organization’s programs, mission, and strategic plan.  Due to differing kinds and levels of complexity, each organization must develop a budget formulation process that meets its individual needs. During this course we will discuss the key elements of a good budget planning process.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Define the steps to creating a great budget.
  • Explain the different types of budgets.
  • Identify everyone’s role in the budget process.
