Resiliency for Nonprofits | Gulfstream Learning Series at United Way

What are the key strategies for keeping your organization resilient and sustainable over the next couple of years?

Our sector faces a number of challenges, due to the pandemic and the resulting recession. Predictions have ranged from dire – like the possibility that 40% of nonprofits might close – to the uplifting – like the idea that we are ushering in a new era of innovation and needed change.

What we know at GCN is that resilient organizations can prepare for the challenges, and navigate this time successfully, using a concept called RISE – Reality and Revenue, Innovation and Impact, Strategies, and Execution. This training will cover the concept of resiliency, and how nonprofits can use a few tools from the RISE framework to help them make better decisions and prepare for the future. More than 100 Georgia nonprofits have been through the RISE process, and we are excited to share what we are learning.
