Member Webinar | New FASB Rules for Nonprofits

As of December 2017, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) is using new standards for nonprofit organizations’ financial statements – the first major change in over 20 years – to provide information that is more useful to donors, grantors, and other stakeholders.

Don’t miss this live webinar event, presented by Brandon Smith of Mauldin & Jenkins, an accounting firm that specializes in nonprofits. Brandon will explain those new standards, how they affect your organization, and what you will need to do differently – including changes in reporting liquidity, financial performance, cash flows, and more. You’ll also learn about the net asset classification requirements under this new set of standards. The presentation will feature real-world examples and the opportunity to ask questions.

This webinar will ensure that you understand what’s required in your financial statements and reporting going forward – thanks to the generosity of Mauldin & Jenkins.

Anyone working in nonprofit finance, including board treasurers, chief operating officers, and all executive-level professionals.

  • The changes you need to make in your financial reporting to meet to new FASB standards
  • How those changes impact your financial statement presentation
  • Further rule modifications still under discussion at the FASB, and their timing
