Join us for a session on writing effective outcome measures that will wow your funders, help your board define success, and focus your programs on results.
Learn the distinctions among outputs, outcomes, results, and intermediate impacts; how to avoid meaningless measures; and tricks for crafting strong outcome statements. You’ll be prepared to answer donors when they ask for outcomes that “move the needle,” and help your colleagues and superiors do the same. Anyone in development or programs, serving at the executive level, or on the board will gain an advantage in communicating, planning, and overseeing progress toward your nonprofit’s goals. You'll complete a hands-on exercise to work on your own organizational outcomes.
