Is the War for Talent on again for your organization? Is it jeopardizing your budget as well as your outcomes? Low unemployment and increasingly rigorous outcomes requirements are forcing nonprofit executives to think creatively and allocate resources differently.
With the national unemployment rate at a 17-year low, and a substantial increase in expectations for competitive benefits and salaries, nonprofits are definitely feeling the squeeze – especially when competing against for-profit organizations for key staff members. How can we overcome these challenges when funding support is steady at best, and often decreasing?
On the morning of May 8, join GCN CEO Karen Beavor for a frank exchange about recruitment and retention in the current environment. We'll focus on strategies for attracting top candidates, increasing loyalty, and gaining board support for greater compensation and investment in employee advancement.
