In this workshop, exclusively for executive and HR staff, we will explore microaggressions – what they are, how they occur in the workplace, and the harm they might be doing to your organization’s morale and culture – as well as the ways you, as a leader, can create a more inclusive environment. Following this interactive presentation, you’ll possess the skills to be responsive and effective when microaggressions are witnessed or reported, including:
- How to identify microaggressions when you witness them
- Demonstrating empathy for those who feel marginalized
- Thoughtful ways to minimize the occurrence of microaggressions and their impact, and
- How to respond appropriately as a leader when microaggressions occur.
