Colleen Campbell Bozard is a senior consultant with GCN. She has over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit arena as an executive director, board member, and consultant, which, combined, offer a unique perspective. Colleen has worked as lead consultant for nonprofit, philanthropic and government agencies in the Southeast; written a wide range of training curricula; conducts training sessions for a variety of audiences; and regularly facilitates strategic planning sessions, staff retreats, and group meetings. She has served as interim executive director for numerous nonprofits and has assisted many others in conducting a search for new leadership. Colleen is a BoardSource Certified Governance Trainer. Colleen served as the executive director of a number of nonprofit organizations, primarily in the fields of family violence (domestic violence, child abuse and neglect), providing these agencies with critical leadership during organizational change, initiated new agencies, been responsible for budgets in excess of one million dollars, provided programmatic oversight, supervised staffs, and provided advocacy on a local and statewide basis. She has worked as a consultant in numerous states, and brings many strengths and skills in the areas of governance, organizational development, community partnerships, strategic planning, interim/transitional leadership, program development, staff and board development, needs assessment, leadership development and technical assistance.
