Brunswick Event | Trends in the Nonprofit Development Landscape

The world of fundraising is changing: Campaigns now use "agile" and affinity-group practices, social media has become fundamental, and over 60 percent of us are making our donations on the phone. Segmentation, cultivation, and stewardship are data-driven, make-or-break tools for captivating today's donors – 150 million adults with unique and evolving sets of values, digital tools, and motivations for giving. The good news? New research shows that if you can get a second gift, 67 percent will continue giving to your organization.

This workshop will provide an overview of trends, research, and the results of our own donor focus groups. Discover the latest data on what works, and what doesn't, in fundraising, and find out how to blend traditional fundraising with new methods and approaches.

Join us, and get your development plan, stewardship plan, and fundraising tools organized for 2019.

At this workshop, we will provide insight on:

  • Trends in fundraising – data from best practices
  • Key motivations and segmentation tips
  • Development Planning for Individuals
  • Development Planning for Major Gifts
  • Concepts of Stewardship and Planning
  • Digital strategies to support fundraising
