New GAgives.org website features to support your 2017 #GivingTuesday campaign
Update on campaign start date and donation scheduling:
In response to feedback we’ve been receiving from participating nonprofits, donation totals on all profile pages will reset to zero, starting Nov. 1, so you can start your GAgives campaign with a fresh slate.
As planned, we’re also enabling Donation Scheduling, so that all donations made Nov. 1-27 will be automatically pre-scheduled for #GivingTuesday. Donors will receive confirmation immediately to confirm their gift, preventing any possible confusion. On Nov. 28, those pre-scheduled donations will be processed automatically and added to your nonprofit’s campaign totals. (will appear in the early morning hours!)
You do have options to opt out of the pre-scheduling feature, if you prefer. Donors can change the charge date easily during the donation process by simply changing it in the “charge date” field. Click here to read the tutorial on how to manage your organization’s donation pre-scheduling.
