Summertime is the right time: Jumpstart your GAgives on #GivingTuesday campaign planning with these four tips.

Summer is generally considered the slow season for fundraising. Kids are off from school, summer vacations are planned, and we complain to each other about how hot and humid it is. (Or is that last one just me?) So, for nonprofit fundraisers… what is summer good for? Well, it’s the perfect season for prepare for the next GAgives on #GivingTuesday, of course! The Click & Pledge team is ready to support you. (If you didn’t know, we’re the platform host for GAgives.org.)

To help you get the most out of summertime, Click & Pledge's Susan Higgs offers four things you can do to make this year’s campaign your best one yet.

1. Come train with us.
(Start with our July 25 kickoff webinar.)

We recognize that many GAgives participants only look at the GAgives.org website and the Click & Pledge platform right before GAgives Day. It can be a lot to absorb in a short amount of time. And this year, we have a slew of new fundraising features that will help you spread your message and engage more donors.

New features like Video Fundraising with pledgeTV™, Facebook Ads (which Click & Pledge pays for!), and customizable donation pages … all which can be connected to your GAgives on #GivingTuesday campaign. To help you get ready, we are offering a new demonstration series called “Get Big with GiveBig.” We hope you’ll join us to maximize your fundraising efficiency.

We’ll start things off with a July 25 webinar to discuss all the new feature enhancements and small tasks you can do now to make things easier for you this fall. This will be followed by monthly topic-specific micro-training webinars.
 

2. Get your campaign team members set up as account users.
(Starting now, they’ll need their own logins.)

As you may recall, we offer added security to everyone’s Click & Pledge accounts to make sure the “bad guys” can’t access them. Shared passwords are now a thing of the past. To ensure that everyone who needs to access your account can log in, you need to add them as Users to your Click & Pledge account. For added convenience, there are two ways you can set up your login — by email or on your mobile phone.
 

3. Know how to ask for help.
(Did you know we offer live support every week?)

We know questions come up. Recently I’ve had a couple of people come to me saying, “I know you prefer us to submit a support ticket, but… ” And while we certainly offer help by support tickets, we offer many other support options, too.

One of my favorites is Live Support. It’s a chance to work hand-in-hand and screen-share so we can help you quickly. Join us any Monday through Thursday from 3 to 3:30pm. Callers are received on a first-come, first-served basis, and our experts stay on the call until everyone has an answer or a plan.

4. Take advantage of all of our features.
(You’ll be surprised how many there are!)

Another thing we hear often is, “I had no idea that Click & Pledge had XYZ.” And the XYZ list of tools and features is long. Whether you need to process payments using your mobile phone, Salesforce integration, peer-to-peer fundraising, customizable reports, and so forth… it’s all included, year-round, at no extra cost when you participate in GAgives.
