Victor McCarty

Vic McCarty serves as Managing Partner of McCarty Collaborative Consulting, LLC. - offering consultation services to nonprofits, schools and faith based organizations. Since 2000, Vic has been involved in nonprofit organizations and fundraising where he has demonstrated excellent knowledge of creating and improving signature events, managing budgets and timelines, working closely with planning committees and volunteers and has a strong background in building events in statewide market areas. Vic also has extensive knowledge, skills and expertise in the areas of signature event planning, coordination of event logistics, strategic planning, goal setting, building relationships with stakeholders, working with Board of Directors, management of volunteers and training of staff. 

Vic also has a strong background in strategic and visionary planning, engaging community stakeholders, securing charitable support from corporations, providing training for event committees and volunteers. He has worked with business executives, community leaders, college students and internal staff on creating and implementing signature events as well as developing vision plans and timelines for signature events. Vic has worked with several nonprofit youth organizations serving as both a volunteer and staff member. 

Vic was responsible for creating the Trot to Clot Walk event(s) for Hemophilia of Georgia, Inc. and expanded the Walk For Wishes events for Make-A-Wish Georgia throughout Georgia. He has extensive knowledge of events such as Golf Tournaments, Galas, Luncheons, Auctions, Dinner Events and Walk Events.

Vic serves as a Master Faculty staff member with Nonprofit University at The Georgia Center for Nonprofits – providing course instruction of fundraising, events management, working with board members/ volunteers and securing corporate support.  In addition, McCarty Collaborative Consulting, LLC is currently providing support to the following clients: Georgia Center for Nonprofits, Good Works Project-Columbus, Healing Hands Youth Ranch, HouseProud Atlanta, and Hemophilia of Georgia, Inc.

Vic resides in Marietta, GA with his wife, Shanie and 2 kids – Dalton and Chelsea. He enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with family and friends and volunteering with Georgia 4-H, Lovinggood Middle School and serves on the Cheatham Hill Educational Foundation Board. His favorite holiday is July 4th!
