Stephanie Hodge

Stephanie Hodge is CEO and Principal Consultant for Essex Consulting, LLC; a consulting firm providing Human Resource and business consulting for small and mid-sized companies. She has over 20 years of global HR experience leading teams in North America, Canada, and South America, in the financial services, software/technology, and non-profit industries. Her diverse background examples service as facilitator for executing new processes, and developing employees at all levels.

Stephanie is known as a transformational leader with experience facilitating change and growth in performance management, talent development and succession planning, and strategic HR management. Stephanie serves as a trusted advisor and coach to CEO’s and senior leadership. Under her leadership, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta was the proud recipient of the “2016’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” award.

Stephanie’s philosophy is to help businesses develop and execute strategies that achieve organizational success, through the development of their people. Stephanie enjoys aligning people strategies that support business goals, adding a personal touch, by utilizing her HR expertise to resolve business challenges.
Stephanie is a certified professional in human resources (PHR), holds a Master’s degree in Organization and Management from Capella University; and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Business Administration. She is board member of the Atlanta Chapter of the National Association of African Americans in HR (NAAAHR); and is an active member of the Society for HR Management (SHRM) Atlanta and National Chapters.

On the educational front, he has been teaching HR certification preparation for over 18 years, currently for the University of Georgia.
