Join GCN's Resiliency to Recovery Planning Cohorts
Welcome 2021 with our updated Resiliency to Recovery Strategy Planning Cohorts program, refreshed for a new year and an evolving set of challenges, but with the same critical goal: To help nonprofits create strategies for recovering with strength.
Georgia nonprofits continue to face severe impacts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, challenging them to rethink strategy, refocus their fundraising efforts, and pivot to meet the needs of their communities. Many are using resiliency strategies to meet those challenges, retool their processes, and achieve consensus for moving forward over the next 24 months.
Over 100 organizations participated last year. Here is what they reported:
- Over 90% were able to stabilize and/or grow their organization by articulating a clear strategy to funders.
- Boards became more engaged through their participation in sessions and by using the tools and templates provided.
- Most organizations found ways to manage the multiple challenges presented by the pandemic, including taking action to pivot and tap their creativity.
- Using scenario planning and program analysis tools, organizations set realistic priorities that were responsive to their situation.
Through this program, held virtually over 8 to 12 weeks, you will work with a consultant and a cohort of other nonprofits to develop your strategy for keeping your organization sustainable through this year and the next, and pick up skills to continue adapting in the years to come.
Cohorts are currently being organized, and start dates are rolling. To be considered for the April cohort, apply by March 12.
