Daniel Summers, Jr.
Daniel Summers, Jr, is the head cat at Summers.Solutions, which specializes in nonprofit or cause-driven arts, culture, and destination marketing. Daniel helps others to improve their marketing and business practice, so they may better fulfill their altruistic mission. He serves on the national board of directors of the PR and Marketing Professional Network (PRAM) of the American Alliance of Museums, as well as the Board of Directors for ATL Airport District, the convention and visitor’s bureau for the businesses and communities surrounding the world’s busiest airport. Before going freelance, Daniel was the Marketing Director at two of Atlanta’s cornerstone artistic organizations: Actor’s Express (2005-2008) and Center for Puppetry Arts (2008-2016). His work on regional projects includes: College Park KidsFest (2018, 2017); the Atlanta and Convention Bureau’s Atlanta Attraction Task Force (2008-2016); the national programming committee of the 2015 American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting and local PRAM host; the $14M Believe in Make Believe: a Campaign of Transformation expansion project at the Center for Puppetry Arts, an 8-year campaign that opened the Worlds of Puppetry Museum: home of the Jim Henson Collection. Daniel is known for his old-world charm combined with new-world ideas, his irreverently-relevant humor, and cat memes.
