Clayton Nonprofit Forum | How to Get a Grant from the Clayton Fund

This workshop will provide valuable information and direction regarding the upcoming 2014 Clayton Fund grant cycle. It includes discussion of the overall process, eligibility guidelines, completing the on-line application and timeline. This session is intended for those nonprofit organizations that are (1) located and provide services within Clayton County and (2) whose operating budgets are at least $25,000 (cash or in-kind contributions included). The presenters will provide the information nonprofits need to apply to the 2014 Clayton Fund grant cycle. The cycle will be formally announced to the nonprofit community in December 2013. The presenters will discuss the overall process, eligibility guidelines, how to complete the online applications (Letter of Intent and Final Application) and submission deadlines. During the session, the nonprofit will be able to ask and get answers to questions pertaining to the grant cycle.

The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta

Jasper Tanner  has worked as both a consultant and full-time staff with The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta for the past nine years. Prior to joining The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, Jasper served corporate, government and nonprofit clients as president of Tanner Consulting, a marketing consulting firm. Prior to starting his own firm, Jasper held senior marketing positions with Delta Air Lines, NutraSweet Corporation and the Pillsbury Company, where he successfully developed and implemented marketing strategies, introduced new products and built brand franchises in both the domestic and international arenas. Jasper holds a BS degree in history from Fayetteville State University in North Carolina and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin.

Erin Dreiling  works on multiple grantmaking projects and initiatives, including the Neighborhood Fund, Grants to Green and the Local Funds. Erin serves as a member of the Foundation’s Regional Impact team. Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Erin worked in development and event planning with several Atlanta arts organizations, including the Alliance Theatre, the Center for Puppetry Arts and Actor’s Express. She holds a degree in Fine and Performing Arts from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
