In 2012, GCN introduced and expanded an array of initiatives focusing on building strategy, generating resources, and developing leaders to help our state’s nonprofits move to higher performance levels. Together, we made history!
On Dec. 6, thousands of Georgians came together for the first-ever Georgia Gives Day, hosted by GCN. The goal: to bring the state together as one community in order to raise as much money and awareness as possible for Georgia nonprofits.
To date, over 1,300 participating nonprofits have received more than 7,200 donations, totaling over $800,000 in contributions. Click here to learn more about those who helped make the inaugural event a great success.
GAgives.org serves as a year-round resource where the public can search for and support the local nonprofits that touch our lives every day, and a free tool that nonprofits can use for fundraising campaigns.
