Strategic Partnerships

Partnerships are powerful. Beyond the obvious benefits— building capacity and increasing reach—partnerships can lead to more funding opportunities, fill in service gaps for those in need, make processes more efficient, and boost both public visibility and political influence. Of course, that’s not to say partnerships are fool-proof: it takes work to find the right partner, and to build the kind of relationship that produces results for both of you.

With help from the GCN consultants, partners, and members making partnerships pay off every day, we’ve gathered expert advice for collaboration of all kinds, from joint programs and shared services to mergers and collective impact initiatives.
