Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  Can someone attend a class or day of classes without being a participant in the program?
A.
Yes, if there is room available. Priority is given to those who are working toward their NPO Management Certificate. However, because we want to reach out to and impact as many nonprofit organizations, we encourage those not participating in the entire Certificate Program to send their employees and volunteers to a day of training in the topic that they feel they have the most need.

Q.  What happens if I enroll in the program and then miss a day of the training?
A.
Not a problem! Any missed days can be made up with the Online On-Demand Classes.

Q.  Can I attend all of the sessions and still request that I get the Certificate at the end of the program?
A.
No – to get the full benefit of the program, you must commit to the program at the beginning and then follow through with the program’s requirements. Those enrolled in the program receive access to information, articles, and advice that those who simply attend individual sessions do not have access to. In addition, you can receive feedback on your homework when enrolled in the program, thus ensuring follow-up to each session; this is not necessarily available to those who attend individual sessions.

Q.  What other benefits are available as a program participant?
A.
There are several additional benefits of being a program participant. As a program participant, you receive a guaranteed seat for all of the classes. By signing up for the entire program you receive a discount when compared to signing up for each session individually.
