 | |  | Christina LennonExecutive Director, Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation Christina Lennon has been working with nonprofits in a professional or volunteer capacity for the past 13 years. She has a degree in Business Management from the University of Florida. In 2003 she was award the first Amanda Hyatt Fellowship for outstanding commitment to the Nonprofit Community from Georgia State University where she received her Masters in Urban Policy Studies. She is the Executive Director of the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, an organization committed to providing vision and hearing services to impoverished Georgians. During her four years at the Lighthouse Foundation, Christina has worked to begin new programs and increase sources of funding. During her tenure the lighthouse began twelve vision clinics statewide, created a new hearing aid program that doubled client capacity, and increased the number of surgeries provided by 85% while decreasing the average surgery cost. The operating budget of the Lighthouse from $600,000 to $1.6 million due to new foundation giving and increased individual donations. Previously, Christina spent nine years in a fundraising and community building capacity with United Way. She was Associate Director of the Gwinnet County office where she was responsible for an annual campaign of over $4 million, and saw double digit growth each year. She managed community projects such as metro Atlatna's grant allocation for all youth programs, designing volunteer training and community collaboration events. Chrisitina also served as Vice President of Resource Development at the Arthiritis Foundation, where she was responsible for statewide fundraising activities, totaling $1.7 million. In 2009 Christina was named a "WOW" Woman on the Way by Atlanta Woman Managzine. She also recived the Georgia Center for Nonprofit's 2009 Revolution Award as the Outstanding Nonprofit Leader. Christina lives in Roswell with her husband Eric and son, Henry.
