Session III. Integrating Your Strategic and Development Plans Date and Time: Thursday, July 29, 2010, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Most organizations carefully deliberate over their strategic plans. Critical issues such as programming objectives, board governance, communications and marketing strategies are typically highlighted as key priorities. But many nonprofits fail to design a compatible development plan that realistically looks at the organization's current donor base, strategic goals, and ability to achieve desired objectives through increased contributions.
In this workshop we will outline an approach to integrating these two critical plans. CEOs will be led through a strategic planning/development case study and will create a compatible development plan that undergirds the nonprofit case's strategic goals. You’ll take your analysis skills back to use at your organization.
