Master Class | Designing and Executing World-Class Fundraising Events

This is a Master Class within Nonprofit University's
Development Institute.

Fundraising events create a unique opportunity for nonprofits to secure vital revenue but also educate donors and volunteers on the organization’s critical mission and impact. Development professionals must understand the most effective methods and approaches in creating a memorable experience whether a concert, gala dinner, signature event, or walk-a-thon. Development professionals must master the art of fundraising event management.

ABOUT OUR FACULTY

Vic McCarty
Managing Partner, McCarty Collaborative Consulting
Vic McCarty has extensive knowledge, skills and expertise in the areas of signature event planning, coordination of event logistics, management of volunteers and training of staff. Since 2003, Vic has been involved in nonprofit event planning where he has demonstrated excellent knowledge of creating and improving signature events, managing budgets and timelines, working closely with planning committees and volunteers and has a strong background in building events in statewide market areas.

Due to the intensive hands-on, experiential nature of the master-level courses, each course is only open to six participants at a time to ensure the highest-quality experience. All participants will be approved via an application process.
