MKT 230 | Building Targeted Nonprofit Products and Services

Strategically planned programs, events, and services can make a large impact on the mission of the organization.  Viable programs drive donor investments, which can translate into increased revenue.  It is crucial for a nonprofit organization to ensure that its “products” are sustainable, marketable, and on mission.  In this course, participants will not only gain an understanding of market segmentation, they will also learn how to create offerings that help the organization reach its objectives.


At the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Build value proposition
  • Construct a differentiated positioning strategy
  • Distinguish between mass marketing and segmentation marketing
  • Identify product development approaches
