- How to recruit volunteers for assignments that match their skills, interests, and abilities and identify assignments that allow them to grow to their potential
- Design and implement formal orientation and training for volunteers
Volunteer Training & Development After Staffing – Ongoing Support
- Apply principles of motivation to acknowledge and reward volunteers and their staff partners
- Solicit and manage volunteer input and feedback
- Develop training that will produce the results you need from your volunteers
- Application of concepts of team building
- Volunteer discipline and dismissal procedures that are fair and equitable
