Neil Sklarew

Senior Consultant, Georgia Center for Nonprofits

Neil Sklarew is a Senior Consultant for the Georgia Center for Nonprofits in Atlanta, Georgia (2003-2008).  Neil's organization development consulting and management experience spans more than 28 years with non-profit and government agencies, and in the private sector.

Neil has been an independent organization development consultant (1998-2008), the Director of Management and Organization Development for Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation (1994-1998), and the Director of Organization Development, in addition to other Human Resources and consulting roles, for Ebasco Services Incorporated (1978-1993).

Neil has provided management and organizational consulting services as both an internal and external consultant.  His external experiences include organization assessment, board development, strategic planning, performance management, change management, team building, management assessment and development, leadership coaching, conflict resolution, and group facilitation.

As an internal consultant, Neil has facilitated large system organization change, planning and restructuring of organizations, project team building, inter-organizational partnering and collaboration, total quality management, 360 degree feedback processes, executive coaching, and group processes such as role negotiation, team building and group facilitation.

Neil earned his Bachelor or Arts degree from Brown University (1967), his Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers, The State University (1970), and his Master of Science in Industrial/Organization Psychology from Stevens Institute of Technology (1978). 

Neil has received additional professional development in organization consulting with O.D. Resources' nine-month Organization Development Consultant program (1981) and the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland's 18-month Organization and System Development program (1993).

Neil is a faculty member of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland's International Gestalt Coaching Program and faculty chair for the Gestalt International Study Center's Leadership Development for Nonprofit Organizations.
