Governor Perdue Outlines Aspirations for Georgia

Day Three has come and gone and Lawmakers now have a better grasp on Governor Perdue's intentions for the State's Supplemental FY 2007 and FY 2008 Budgets. Lawmakers made short work of their day and adjourned relatively early due to the Governor's address. 

In a joint session of the House and the Senate today, Governor Perdue outlined his aspirations for the State of
Georgia. According to Governor Perdue, Georgia still has progress to make to elevate Georgia from a "good state to a great state, a state of the future."

The ever-changing and growing State must fix present problems, such as healthcare, but also look to the future and ensure that we can pass on a better
