Disability Day at the Capitol

The General Assembly returned to the Capitol this morning to tackle another day's work. It was also Disability Day at the State Capitol today.  There were hundreds of children with disabilities present with their parents working the "ropes" to be heard about issues of importance to them. 

Many of these children were highly visible as they were wearing red shirts.  Senator Johnny Isakson was also present in the halls; he spoke of the troops in Iraq, PeachCare, and immigration. More >>
