Leading Assets: Process driven financial management

Sandra Champion, President of Champion Partners

When an organization receives money from donors, either large or small, having a decision making process away from the folds of market noise leaves the donors with a better sense that their dollar is being exploited to capacity. CFO’s of charitable organizations, both public and private benefit from the simple rules of the road as they apply in the state of Georgia. Dedicated dollars are managed to maximum efficiency through a process driven approach.

Sandra J. Champion is the President of Champion Partners, a nationally recognized professional services firm dedicated to advancing philanthropy and those involved in giving through education and mentoring. Champion Partners has independently provided direction and objective planning for a variety of eleemosynary organizations, private families and their advisors since 2002.

Prior to founding Champion Partners, Ms. Champion spent more than twenty years working with families of wealth, both as an educator and an investment professional. As a result of her work she became much aware of the financial issues facing nonprofits and the lack of understanding of those issues by the financial services industry. In the mid nineties she began to focus her work specifically on 501(c) (3) organizations.

Over the course of the last several years we have worked with private family foundations, public charities, hospital foundations and
community foundations, as well as UBS Financial Services, Merrill Lynch, BB&T, the investment firms of Thornburg and MFS as well as industry associations and nonprofit support groups.
