Anne led the client through a board composition analysis and a board recruitment process that brought in several new members and set the stage for ongoing recruitment. She also coached the executive director in donor relations, resulting in the largest gift the organization had yet received from an individual.
Recently, Anne’s efforts culminated in an annual campaign, combined with a special event, which more than quadrupled the amount of funds the organization had raised from individual donors in a year. She has improved her client’s understanding and use of their donor tracking software and database and improved their Web site as a marketing and fund-raising vehicle.
The organizational assessments cover all of the business aspects of nonprofit management. Anne’s technical assistance assignments usually include board training and coaching for the senior executive of the organization. She has established positive relationships with the clients she has served. Her current assignment from GCN is to provide a combination of executive coaching, strategic planning, board development, and fund-raising planning for a south Asian women’s organization.
