Fee Information
The consultant will estimate the cost of a project based on the exact scope of work and the time needed to accomplish it. The consultant will estimate the length of the project, including numbers of hours for both preparation and delivery, and will use the appropriate daily fee to calculate the total project cost. The client and consultant will agree to a fee before beginning the project. If the scope changes, then both parties must renegotiate the contract.

Consultants hired for projects that are paid from technical assistance grants given by foundations receive compensation of $800 a day, regardless of subcontracted or referred work. Travel expenses and travel time exceeding one hour each way may be added to the cost of the project at the rate of $25/hour.
