Regional Nonprofit Reports
Facts and Figures Now Available
State economies are driven by three sectors: public, private, and nonprofit. The nonprofit sector in every region across Georgia is diverse and growing. Access to data outlining the size and scope of the nonprofit sector -- in combination with economic impact data -- can help your nonprofit community prepare for economic and policy discussions by illustrating the landscape of any given region and its direct benefit to the economy.
A summary of tabular data for nonprofits by county, type or subsectors, and source of revenue, in addition to, employment, payroll, assets, and expenditures will provide you with a comprehensive look at the state of your region's nonprofit sector and estimate of impact.
By comparing your nonprofit community to traditional areas of commerce and industry, you'll help demonstrate your influence--beyond a primary provider of needed services--to policy makers, the media, and the public.
Data is gathered from the Georgia Economic Modeling System (GEMS), developed by the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government and the Urban Institute’s National Center for Charitable Statistics.
