Raising Change Returns to GCN

Atlanta, GA - 1/15/2010 -

The Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN), through its Nonprofit University is bringing back RAISING CHANGE on January 26, 2010 – a full day of intensive classes to help nonprofits  raise the money they need to operate and grow NOW, so they can support their mission and change their communities for the better.

Many nonprofits are struggling in the current economy, and need help raising money – quickly.

RAISING CHANGE is a full day of training that provides the skills needed to:

  • Effectively Utilize Online Fundraising & Social Media
  • Build Support from Within Your Organization by Maximizing Your Board’s Involvement
  •  Establish Sustainer Programs to Provide Predictable income for Your Organization
  • Understand the New Rules of Fundraising from a Funder’s Perspective

Experts who have who have” been there and done that” successfully in the nonprofit sector will teach the classes. RAISING CHANGE will prepare participants to walk out with strategic know how and solutions that can immediately impact their fundraising efforts. RAISING CHANGE will help people to understand how other nonprofits succeed in supporting their cause and teach how to increase and support yours. In addition, the class will teach how to galvanize the support of others, be a better fundraiser or change the world.
