GCN’s quarterly magazine, delivered directly to every one of our member organizations and partners, takes a practical and insightful look at the issues you deal with every day—issues of leadership, innovation, fundraising, advocacy, communications, management and more.
Inside, you'll find opinion and advice from sector leaders, thoughtful guides for tricky subjects like marketing and lobbying, fresh data from GCN’s original research projects, the latest news from GCN members, and much more—all free for our members, and available online.
The Georgia Center for Nonprofits conducts original research to inform and improve our understanding of Georgia's nonprofit community.
Reporting on sector trends, leadership development and management strategies, the Center research initiatives have taken a leadership role in the advancement of statewide nonprofit research through a number of initiatives. Projects are carried out through survey design and administration, data gathering, and analysis. In addition to producing unique reports, the Center's research agenda also monitors national nonprofit sector research.
In 2014, GCN continued to advance our mission to support nonprofits in building thriving communities across the state. Read about our work in equipping community leaders with the skills and networks they need; changing what’s achievable in social impact by arming nonprofits with high-performance practices; building a giving movement through Georgia Gives Day; nurturing the people who power nonprofits with career support and professional development; and sparking the next big thing with innovative initiatives and the resources to take risks.
