Our Commitment to Privacy Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our home page and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
Please note that this policy is subject to change.
The Information We Collect This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Georgia Center for Nonprofits Web site. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to attend events. Following are the types of personal information collected at these pages:
- Name
- Organization
- Address
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Phone/fax numbers
- Credit/Debit Card Information
- (etc.)
When you use the public areas of our Web site, you are doing so anonymously.
The Way We Use Information
- We do collect aggregate use information, such as the number of hits per page, for internal and marketing use only; we do not provide your personally identifying information to the public.
- We use the information you provide about yourself when conducting a transaction to complete that transaction only. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your request.
- We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
- Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
Our Commitment to Data Security To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Nonprofit University Policies
Registrations will not be accepted or processed without full payment.
Purchase orders: Seat reservations must be held with a credit card. The credit card will not be charged, however reservations not cancelled within five business days prior to the day of the class will be charged in full.
Walk in’s are welcome if space is available, however payment is due in full prior to entering the class.
Forms of Payment: We accept Visa, Mastercard or telecheck payments. Company checks are also accepted. There is a $25 returned check fee.
REFUND POLICY We reserve the right to cancel any workshop. Should we cancel, registrants will receive a full refund. We also reserve the right to substitute workshop presenters.
CANCELLATIONS, NO SHOWS, AND TRANSFERS Workshop Cancellation Policy: Any registrant choosing to cancel a workshop registration will receive a refund minus a $25.00 handling charge. Notice of cancellation must be received by GCN at least five business days prior to the workshop. No refunds can be made after that date under any circumstances.
No Shows: Purchase orders reserving seats must be held with a credit card and are subject to our cancellation policies.
EXHIBIT AND EVENT SPONSORSHIP CANCELLATIONS GCN Exhibitors and Event Sponsors have the right to cancel their agreements at any time by written notice to Georgia Center for Nonprofits. Exhibitors/sponors canceling on or before 120 days prior to the event will receive a refund of payments made, less a nonrefundable administrative fee of $100. Exhibitors/sponsors who have made payments and cancel between 120 days and 90 days prior to the event shall be eligible for a 50% refund of the total booth rental fee. To be clear, if a payment of 50% of the total booth rental fee and sponsorship has been paid, that payment is nonrefundable between 120 days and 90 days prior to the event of the total booth rental and sponsorship fee. No refunds shall be issued for cancellations received after 90 days prior to the event. Under all circumstances, Georgia Center for Nonprofits reserves the right to resell the exhibitor/sponsor program cancelled by the sponsor/exhibitor.
