Volunteers must be given the knowledge and skills to do their tasks. In Module 3, you will learn how to orient the volunteer to your organization, risk management strategies to protect the volunteer, your clientele, and your organization, as well as how to provide volunteers with the necessary resources and training.

Use the instructional formulation steps to design a training outline to teach volunteers a specific skill or knowledge.
