September Topics for High Performance - Finance

Proudly sponsored by: Mauldin & Jenkins

Financial sustainability and accountability are ubiquitous issues for nonprofit organizations as they seek to balance their mission with fiscal responsibility.  Because financial sustainability and accountability arise as a result of external demands as well as internal needs, a fiduciary duty exists between the nonprofit organization, the public it serves, and potential donors.

Nonprofits have an obligation to act as responsible stewards in managing their financial resources.  They must comply with all legal requirements and adhere to accounting principles that ensure fiscal responsibility and build public trust.  For the September Topic for High Performance, GCN is focusing on financial best practices to assist your nonprofit in maintaining fiscal responsibility!
