Building Better Nonprofits
At the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, we believe that nonprofits are essential components of thriving communities.
GCN strives to be:
- the place that nonprofits turn to for information and resources to improve performance
- the credible voice protecting and advancing sector interests
- the source of thought leadership and solutions that facilitates a state-of-the-art nonprofit environment and catalyzes collective impact.
Toward these efforts, GCN will, starting in August 2010, deliver topically focused educational themes which include topics most critical to high performing nonprofit success. Monthly Topics for High Performance will run throughout various elements of our programming, including:

Nonprofit University |
In addition to our regular course load, GCN’s Nonprofit University will enhance, develop, launch and deliver in depth learning opportunities focused on the monthly themes. |

CenterView Newsletter |
GCN’s e-newsletter is sent to 10,000+ nonprofit professionals will be leveraged to highlight, provide valuable content and generate discussion on monthly themes. |

Tools & Resources |
GCN will provide a variety of free tools and resources focused on the monthly themes. Examples include sector research, Lunch-n-Learns, webinars, toolkits and best practices checklists. |

Networking Opportunities |
Nonprofit networking groups, such as the Atlanta Nonprofit Professionals will focus monthly meetings on the themes to encourage sharing of best practices and resources. |
