Note - This course requires a basic knowledge and understanding of social media. Students should take IT 240 Social Media prior to taking this course.

Mission or values-based affinities lie at the core of social enterprise.  Social media can be an effective vehicle for sharing an organization's story and building community around it.  This workshop introduces participants to how social media can be leveraged for the benefit of social enterprise organizations.  This workshop is designed for representatives of organizations that are interested in developing Web 2.0 communications programs.  By attending this session, participants will be able to understand the concepts that drive social media.
