You've heard the hype, but do you know what exactly "Web 2.0" and "social media" refer to, and more importantly, how they can help your organization?.  Whereas in Web 1.0, we are all spectators, Social Media introduces a new paradigm for online communication, one that makes everyone a participant.  This introductory workshop is designed to help you understand the implications of social media for your organization's communications strategy and gain confidence in navigating the language and tools of the modern online experience.  This will be a soup to nuts conversation that covers a wide range of tools, technologies, and platforms.  The workshop is designed for those just branching out beyond email.
