CEO Central 60 Symposia 2006--2007
This GCN program includes four quarterly lecture-and-case-study symposia in Atlanta, 8:00 a.m.-- noon. Program includes breakfast, lunch, materials and tools, two-day immersion event with nationally recognized speakers, peer networking, donor cocktail events, individual coaching, and more. Limited to 60 committed participants (not transferable; no substitutions accepted for any program day). Participants must be CEOs of organizations with $1M or more budgets--no exceptions. Leadership Atlanta Now Accepting Proposals for Community Leadership Projects
(Proposals due July, 14, 2006)
Leadership Atlanta is interested in partnering with six--eight Atlanta-based nonprofit organizations. Each nonprofit partner would undertake a project that a nine--12 member team of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2007 can complete by working collaboratively. Requires no more than three meetings of two--four hours each. Project work will begin October 2006 and be completed no later than Feb. 15, 2007. Proposals are due Friday, July 14, 2006. GSU School of Social Work Now Accepting Proposals for Community Projects
(Proposals due Sept. 1, 2006)
Georgia State University School of Social Work, with a sole concentration in community partnerships, requests proposals from Atlanta-area organizations to have second-year master's students work with them on a community project. Projects involve groups of about four students that partner with an agency to plan, implement, and evaluate a semester-long community project. Projects will be selected and conceptualized this fall. Implementation, evaluation, and final presentation of projects will be January to April 2007. Proposals are accepted now through Sept. 1, 2006. Get details and an RFP online. C
