Atlanta Nonprofit Professionals (ANP) Networking Social (Tonight, Sept. 21, Atlanta)
Atlanta Nonprofit Professionals' mission is to connect and strengthen nonprofit professionals in metro Atlanta. Offered by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Atlanta Chapter, this two-day course provides an overview of the fund-raising profession and fundamentals of the development function. The Georgia Diversity Job Expo--Victims of Hurricane Katrina Encouraged to Attend

Harvard Business School Executive Education Scholarships
(Applications due Dec. 1, 2006)
The Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta, HBSCA, is pleased to announce plans to award up to six scholarships to attend one-week executive education programs in the Social Enterprise Initiative (SEI) at Harvard Business School. The two courses eligible are “Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management” (SPNM) and “Performance Measurement for Effective Management of Nonprofit Organizations” (PMNO), with a maximum of four scholarships per course. The courses will be held on the HBS campus in Boston: PMNO on May 7--10, 2007; the SPNM dates will be announced soon. Get more information or apply.


Fulton County Arts Council Announces Second Round of 2006/2007 Funding Guidelines

Second round of 2006/2007 contracts for services guidelines for small and emerging organizations and grassroots arts programs are now available. Details are online at www.fultonarts.org. Eligible groups are encouraged to apply for these service contracts for up to $5,000, which are designed to support activities that address the Fulton County Arts Council’s mission of access to, participation in, and appreciation of the arts for all Fulton County residents. Deadline Extended! Community Consulting Teams (CCT) Free Management Consulting Services (Applications due Oct. 6, 2006)
Community Consulting Teams (CCT)--Atlanta welcomes applications from nonprofits that can benefit from pro-bono consulting services by our teams of volunteer MBAs. Applications and information are available at www.cctatlanta.org. The application deadline has been extended to Friday, October 6, as long as you inform CCT--by Oct. 1--of your intent to file. CCT has served more than 90 organizations and welcomes projects in most areas related to marketing, planning, and business operations.
