TechBridge Technology Innovation Award for Nonprofits
TechBridge is now accepting applications for the seventh annual Technology Innovation Award, which is granted each year to the nonprofit that best demonstrates the innovative use of technology. If you (or a nonprofit with which you work) have completed a technology initiative which has positively impacted your mission, efficiency of daily operations, effectiveness in serving clients, and/or fundraising, advocacy or volunteer efforts, we want to hear your story. Given by Accenture, the award provides more than $45,500 in TechBridge consulting services, Microsoft software and cash to the winner and over $16,500 in TechBridge consulting services, Microsoft software and cash to two finalists. Both winner and finalists will be featured at TechBridge's Digital Ball on May 10th, 2008, when the award is presented, as well as highlighted in numerous promotional materials and profiled in a special April supplement running in the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The Fulton County Arts Council Announces Funding Opportunities for Nonprofit Organizations and Artist Collectives
The deadline to submit applications is January 16, 2008.
Fulton County-based arts, cultural, and community-based nonprofit organizations and artist collectives are invited to apply for funding for the 2008/2009 contract cycle. Funding ranging from $1,000 to $150,000 is available to support arts programming in Fulton County. Guidelines and applications available online at www.fultonarts.org.

Fulton Arts Council Accepting Applications for Arts Funding Peer Review Panelists
The deadline to submit applications is January 31, 2008.
The Fulton County Arts Council's Contracts for Services program is accepting applications for volunteer peer review panelists for the 2008-2009 contract cycle. Panelists will evaluate applications, make funding recommendations, provide guidance to staff in working with applications, and assist the Arts Council with policy and program development. Panelists will be selected to serve on one of seven panel groups scheduled to convene late March through April 2008. Call 404-612-5780 for more information, or to request an application form. Media Justice Grant Opportunity, Proposals must be received by February 29, 2008
The Fund for Southern Communities, as part of the Funding Exchange's Media Justice Fund, seeks proposals for grants in two categories:
  • Community Media Collaborations (CMC) – projects: work that address media policy, infrastructure or accountability within the context of a social justice issue or campaign; and
  • Media Justice Toolkits (MJT) – popular education materials that motivate local communities to address the impact of media policy on grassroots communities; promotion media awareness and/or media activism; support or creation of community controlled, independent media infrastructure; and advocacy and outlining concrete steps for media activists.
