The majority of giving (75% according to the Giving USA Foundation) comes from individuals. In order to maximize your organization's individual giving program, you must first have a clear  understanding of who those donors are and how to successfully cultivate and manage those relationships. This, of course, starts with looking in your own back yard at your board members and volunteers.

Learning objectives:

  • Giving by generation – Gen X, Gen Y, Boomers and Matures
  • Identifying and keeping major donors – what do wealthy donors want?
  • Board giving
  • Tapping into your volunteers for giving and soliciting donations
  • Building relationships with prospects
  • Asking and thanking donors
  • Evaluation and accountability
