Participants will gain exposure to the basics of the financial statement and cash flow issue, and will review nonprofit financials and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits’ Ethics and Accountability Standards publication. At workshop’s end, participants will have gained experience in reading a financial statement, have an understanding of cash flow issues, and have gained a beginning familiarity with the subject of internal controls and how these can provide accurate financial information. They will also have an awareness of what conflict of interest is and how to safeguard against.
