CEO & PresidentKaren Beavor is CEO & President of the Georgia Center for Nonprofits. She is a graduate of Agnes Scott College and serves as a board member or advisory board member of a variety of civic and nonprofit organizations, including the National Nonprofit Risk Management Center, Family Connections Partnership, the Foundation Center-Atlanta, The Nonprofit Quarterly, American Humanics, The Center for Nonprofit and Government Leadership at Kennesaw State University, The State Bar of Georgia's ABC Committee and the National Center for Charitable Statistics.
Karen has received the Martin Luther King Leadership award and the Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta's Community Leader Award. She is a graduate of the 2000 class of Leadership Atlanta and the 2003 Coca-Cola Diversity Leadership Academy. | | | |
| | Michael W. Lammons
Board ChairMichael W. Lammons is the Assurance Partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He is responsible for audit clients in the financial services and academic medical center industries. He has served as Community Relations Partner Sponsor for PwC Atlanta from March 2007 to present and on the PwC Atlanta Diversity Advisory Board – from 2005 to present. He has also served as Lead Recruiting Partner for the Atlanta Office - Auburn University and University of Alabama from 2004 to present.
Michael’s memberships / affiliations include: Leadership Atlanta Class of 2009, Insurance Systems & Accounting Association (GA Chapter), Atlanta Corporate Donors, Georgia Society of CPAs, Georgia Center for Nonprofits - Treasurer, Executive Committee, Board Member from 2006 to present, Chris Kids Rainbow Advisory Board Member from 2007 to present, HARMONY: Atlanta's International Youth Chorus: President and Chairman of the Board - 2002 to 2006, Treasurer - 2000 to 2002 & Board Member from 1999 to 2006. He has also been very involved with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life as the Executive Champion - PwC Relay for Life National Team from 2004 to present; Champion - PwC Relay for Life National Team - 2002-2004 and has raised in excess of $200,000 in each year of his involvement.
