This course begins by taking a look at the legislative process, touching on not only how laws and regulations are passed, but who is responsible for them. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of who has the power and tactics to get them to listen to you and support your cause.

  • Creating a who’s who list of policy makers and key players
  • Identifying who you need to inform, educate, and influence to be successful
  • Mapping the process for making a change
  • How to best represent the interest of your constituents and your mission in the policy-making process
